ArchWebTexas is a Texas-based network that is dedicated to empowering architects and designers through their career journeys.

The architecture industry is notorious for being highly competitive. With design firms competing against each other to win work, it has become a race to the bottom - especially in terms of design fee.

We believe that if architects and designers come together, we can change the industry for the better.

How it started

ArchWebTexas was formed by a small group of architects and designers that wanted more. We began meeting monthly to discuss improving our careers, our skills, and ourselves. Over time this group started to grow as other designers learned about it. It became apparent that there was a thirst in the architecture community for a network of business-minded designers.

How it works

Each member is now personally vetted to ensure that they are a good fit. What makes someone a good fit?

1. They are currently working as an architect or designer.

2. They have the desire to improve themselves as a businessperson.

3. They are actively pursuing work for their current firm.

4. They are entrepreneurial.

5. They are looking for a community of like-minded individuals to grow with.

The application process starts with a brief assessment of your current knowledge of the negotiation process. After you take the assessment, a member of our team will analyze your score and contact you for an interview. If they determine you are a good fit, they will invite you to join the community.
